If you haven't noticed, all the Christmas celebrations, holiday sparkle, and merry days of cheer have hindered my frequent blog posting abilities. With Christmas festivities and one of my best friend's weddings this weekend on New Year's Eve, we've had a million and one things to do. But pics from baby girl's first Christmas are on the way and will come super soon. She was so stinkin cute opening her presents...it definitely made our Christmas, watching her delight in all her Christmas firsts.

I will admit, I was a little sad at the end of Christmas day, but then I realized something profound...hello, silly woman - please, don't cry...the Christmas season isn't over yet! More Christmas is on the way, especially since the twelve days of Christmas have only just begun, thank God! I mean, who doesn't love having more days and more reasons to celebrate?

And with the new year being only a couple days away, I'm positive there will be more stories to write, more laughter to share, and more love to spread because just like with any new beginning or turn of the page, a new adventure is undoubtedly on the way.
