Do you ever take a second to drive down memory lane and think about all that's happened, realizing how a long chain of decisions brought you to where you are today, right here, right now? Some decisions were well thought out, others rash, either way they led you here. Well, I'm learning and experiencing how decisions weigh much more when you're not the only one affected. Decisions made as a family, and for your family, are kind of a big deal and pull on the heart a little more than the dilemmas we faced as sixteen year-old's deciding what to wear to Friday night's party. And even those dilemmas were quickly solved when your best friend voted for the black shirt instead of the pink one. But when it comes to family decisions, no one can make them for you...they're yours and yours alone.
In honor of Memorial Day, a BIG thank you to our troops and their families who decide day in and day out to risk their comforts and most importantly their lives for the many freedoms we so often take for granted.
Big decisions have kept us very occupied lately. And although none have been made just yet, they're keeping us busy with pro's and con's lists and many, many, prayers. Speaking of prayers, if you can keep our little family in your prayers, know we're sending out prayers for you and yours too.
After being really excited about So You Think You Can Dance last week, I barely caught 5 minutes because baby girl kept me busy with bath time and bed time. But it's totally alright because deciding whether to lounge in front of the tv or bathe my child was a pretty easy decision...and these days I'll take as many easy decisions as I can get.
