sharing the wealth.

Because times are tough for too many of us, we have to, have to, have to realize our most noteworthy wealth is not printed on paper or made out of nickel. It's not measured by our HD channel selection, our TV screen size, our 4G network capability, our number of Facebook friends, our designer purse collection, our home's square footage, or the year, make, and model of our means to get from point A to point B. Real wealth has nothing to do with any of these things.

If we can see, we're wealthy. If we can taste, we're wealthy. If we can hear, we're wealthy. If we can smell, we're wealthy. If we can touch, we're wealthy. If we can walk, we're wealthy. If we can run, we're wealthy. If we have someone to say "I love you," to, we're wealthy. If we can find the courage to say, "I'm sorry," we're wealthy. If we have one friend we can truly trust, we're wealthy. If we have a pillow to rest our head on at night, we're wealthy. If we have a roof hanging over our head, we're wealthy. If we have any memories worth recalling, we're wealthy. If we have even one reason to smile, we're wealthy. If we have a faith worth believing in, we're wealthy. And if we are generous enough to allow others to indulge in any of these simple gems we delight in, we've experienced the richness of  sharing our wealth.

We all have much to share and even more to give...so, I decided that little by little, we would debut new sponsors on Marie Tea, showing and sharing pretty amazingly special people and some of their way cool products. Every now and then, we'll have promotions and giveaways from our awesome sponsors, sharing the sweetness they are so kindly willing to give.

Next week, we will have our very first giveaway from MI Petite Boutique and one lucky winner will win either a free hair bow, a fancy flower, or a lovely headband {winner's choice}. So, if you're not already following Marie Tea, make sure to start because in order to win, you've gotta be a member of our Tea Room {found on the left-hand side of the blog}. And below is sweet baby girl wearing one of MI Petite Boutique's beautiful flowers.

I pray next time we think to measure our wealth based on numbers, brands, or dollar signs, we think twice about our real wealth, we remember all the little things, and we realize all the ways we really, truly are abundantly and richly blessed.

Oh my goodness, Victoria. Your words bring me so much joy, but even better, they made me realize today how much I have to be thankful for in my life. Just when my sight of things starts getting fuzzy, your words made me see daylight one more time. Thank you for making this (at times) ungrateful fool become a whole lot more grateful. :) God bless you & the Mr. and Baby Gal...always, and in all ways.
