months fifteen & sixteen,
you've been colored on with lots of crayons.
you've had naps in a big girl bed.
you've met the words please and thank you.
forks and spoons are finally being put to proper use.
summer pool days, accompanied with arm floaties, are a favorite of yours.
stickers, dancing, puzzles, blowing kisses, climbing up and down, mimicking mama,
and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches
fill your time.
not to mention, tantrums, sass, and a will like no other.
I pray, pray, pray you use that will of yours to invoke love whenever you can...
because your strong determination, partnered with your inviting joy, will undoubtedly enlighten this world.
