never enough.
There's never enough candles,
for all our birthday wishes.
But, we mustn't focus on the flames
that our birthday blow misses.
For even if we caught one light,
that's one wish now come true.
We must give thanks for all we have
and appreciate the beauty from our view.
Thanksgiving week reminds us
to be grateful for our lives.
So, start a little early this year,
embrace the season before it arrives.
Start sharing thankful words,
give more than you receive.
For, there's never enough time
to say, "thank you," "I love you," or "I believe."

a natural harvest.
When fall rolls around, there's much to explore.
Wind-blown branches and leaves, pumpkins galore.
Pretty wreaths embellish many American shops.
And it's a popular time to harvest most crops.
But us non-farming folk, must collect from within.
To neglect Divine given grain, would be surely a sin.
So, fall kindly shows us to reap all that we own.
Be mindful of blessings and the joy they have sewn.
For a natural harvest returns what's most dear.
It yields Love, distributes Love, and keeps Love ever near.

till we meet again.
I will confidently admit, we were close for some time
So to pay tribute to you, here is a rhyme
Our time spent together was some of my best
I enjoyed your company much better than the rest
You always welcomed me with open arms
And whenever I needed you, you captured me with your charm
I know I've been distant, I seem displaced and far away
Please know I think of you often throughout the day
I want you to know, this is just for a season
When things settle down, I'll be back with good reason
Our 7-hour sleepover parties will be visited once more
And we will meet where we once met, many days before
You are by no means forgotten, in fact you're quite missed
I promise I'll eventually be back, so please don't feel dissed
You're always reliable and a great refuge indeed
Just know I'm away with good reason, fulfilling love's needs
Please understand you're cute, but she'll always be cuter
You may be enticing, but she wins the pewter
Oh comfy pillow of mine, so soft and so true
When her sleep schedule's somewhat regular, I shall return unto you.
